The Outer Worlds 2 Review

The Outer Worlds 2 is as good as the original game, and dare I say even a little bit better.

Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition Review

The big problem is that racing, while seemingly breathtaking and urgent, is actually a little dull in Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Review

If you have the slightest interest in Mortal Kombat, you need to get yourself involved with Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

NINJA GAIDEN 4 Review

NINJA GAIDEN 4 is an absolute no-brainer for any fan of a hack and slash game.

Looking back to 2009 and the beauty of Bayonetta

Being described as an "action adventure hack and slash" game, with major themes of "sexiness" and "partial nudity" (those wacky Japanese, eh?), luckily Bayonetta played a whole lot better than the description made it sound.

Monochrome Order Review – It’s not all black and white

Monochrome Order on Xbox One makes a decent fist of being an interesting RPG, but then shoots itself in the foot by making it harder to play unless you buy extra things.

Street Outlaws: The List Review

I can't recommend Street Outlaws: The List to anybody; certainly not to anyone who’s ever played a racing game before.

Looking Back to 2014 and Lords of The Fallen

It’s strange to think that this is a game that was first played five years ago, as it barely seems like last week, but time has certainly been kind to Lords of the Fallen. It still holds up, still plays well and I'm still motivated to finally beat it.

Plants Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Review

While it seems that Popcap and EA have played it somewhat safe, Neighborville is still an interesting game to play, and with more of an emphasis on the story mode, including the return of the gnomes to find and vanquish, there is plenty of fun to be had here. Just don't expect to have your socks blown off with the originality on display.

5 things you need to know before embarking on your adventure with The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds is, if you haven't heard the buzz about it, a triumphant return to form for Obsidian. It is a gloriously silly, gloriously well scripted, gloriously brilliantly acted game, with more branches in the dialogue than you can shake a stick at, and multiple factions to manage your relationship with. With so much choice in things to do, places to go and people to meet, the first few hours can be somewhat overwhelming, with a lot of information thrown at you in a short period of time. So that’s where I come in, with a few tips and tricks on how to best set off on your adventure in The Outer Worlds; things that I wish I had known before I first set foot on Terra 2.

Looking back to 1994 to celebrate 25 years of Monolith Productions

Monolith Productions have reached a milestone that not many video game development companies can boast of, celebrating 25 years in the industry this October. As a tribute to their longevity, and the games that they have produced over the years, I'd like to present a little look back at their history.

The Fisherman – Fishing Planet Review

If you want a fishing game then Fishing Sim World is still the daddy, however if you want to try something different, then The Fisherman - Fishing Planet just might scratch that itch.

The Outer Worlds Review

The Outer Worlds on Xbox One is so much more than Fallout in space, and I honestly think you owe it to yourself to play this game. This is one of the most entertaining gaming experiences I've played this year, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and everyone.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint Review

Ghost Recon Breakpoint on Xbox One does have a lot of ambitions and ideas, but then drowns them in a tide of nonsense and poor design. I have enjoyed the game at least in the PvE environment, as the multiplayer PvP is not very good at all. Grinding for levels, exploring, and finding missions is a great deal of fun, but the problems are never far away.

Top 5 Hardest Bosses in Code Vein

Code Vein, Bandai Namco's anime flavoured take on the Dark Souls world, is pretty good. Sure, it’s not the hardest game in the world but that’s not to say it is all smooth sailing. You see, mixed in with the "run of the mill" baddies there are of course the obligatory boss encounters. Some of these are pretty straightforward, but as the game goes on, they get harder and harder, until they reach epic levels.

Looking Back to October 2014 and the magic of Skylanders Trap Team

Ah Activision, purveyors of fine video games for the discerning consumer. Or, if you have a small child obsessed with Skylanders, purveyors of small shiny plastic figures that empty a parent’s wallet faster than a cocaine habit.

Code Vein Review – Jiggly Souls!

Code Vein is a great new addition to the action RPG genre. It may be nothing more than a reskinned Dark Souls, but when the source material is so strong, that isn't a problem.

Looking Back To 2014 and Forza Horizon 2

Forza Horizon 2 then, a game from 2014 - a game that still stands up today

Gears 5 is stunning – but what are the absolute best bits?

I found myself thinking about my favourite parts of Gears 5, the highlight reel if you will, and wondered how my list of memorable moments would compare to those of others. Would it be the stunning story? The intense multiplayer? The Horde mode for being, well, Horde mode?

A Pizza Delivery Review

I am a fan of games that take risks with their gameplay content. A Pizza Delivery does this with an offbeat narrative and visual storytelling.

Nice Day for Fishing Review

The components of a really fun game are present, the world is well-designed and aesthetically it is beautifully done. But many of the roadblocks in Nice Day for Fishing feel like a way to pad out the time.

Wreckreation feels a bit like a budget Burnout.
