Been playing games since I was six and I have never stopped since. I'll play anything you put in front of me and I'll probably write about it too.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Review

There is a great concept with wonderful moment to moment gameplay behind NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. but only if you can manage to get over a myriad of other issues.

This War of Mine: Final Cut Review

With all the content available, the beautiful charcoal art style, the tense survival gameplay, the wonderful stories, This War of Mine: Final Cut is something that is absolutely worth your time - as long as you know what you're getting into.

Zero Escape: The Nonary Games Review

Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is like a mix between a Telltale game and an old school point and clicker, taking the best from both of those genres. It’s something very different and worth trying.

Toy Soldiers HD Review

Toy Soldiers HD is genuinely worth playing if you have never done so before; there is a huge amount of fun to be had here. This HD title could have been a lot more too, and honestly might work less well than the original ever did. But what’s there is still a good time for strategy fans and it’s still able to provide a very unique experience.

Looking back to 2010 and the rocket-powered speedboats of Hydro Thunder Hurricane

Hydro Thunder Hurricane on Xbox is still absolutely worth playing today and it is available as a backwards compatible title on the Xbox One.

Dungeons 3 – Complete Collection Review

Dungeons 3 - Complete Collection on Xbox One is without a doubt one of the best RTS games you can play on the Xbox One right now. It has a fantastic mixture of several sub-genres wrapped in a hilarious and charming package that is chock-full of content. It’s been a long time since I’ve had so much fun being so bad.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Greymoor Review

While it's disappointing to see Greymoor tread very old ground after three previously exceptional and creative expansions, it's still worth a play for veteran players and may even still excite those new to the scene. It's undeniably a slight step down, but with the bar set where it is, it's still a pretty good addition.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall – Invasions Review

There’s not much bad to say about Ages of Wonders: Planetfall – Invasions on Xbox One as it does everything a good expansion should, adding more of the content that players love while simultaneously improving on the formula of the base game.

The Culling: Origins Review

The Culling: Origins is not the worst game I’ve ever played - in fact it’s not even the worst Battle Royale game I’ve ever played. But it is damn close. It’s so painfully mediocre in almost every aspect that it boggles my mind why anyone would want to pick it up. This is especially true when there are a plethora of Battle Royales that are actually free and are of an astronomically better quality than The Culling.

Gato Roboto Review

If you're looking for something retro and breezy to play through in an evening, you’ll have a great time with Gato Roboto on Xbox One. This is a funny and charming experience from beginning to end, and it's clear the developers deeply understand, and are fans of, the genre they were working with.

Looking all the way back to 2000 and Excitebike 64 on Nintendo 64

If you still have your old N64 console and you've never had a chance to play Excitebike 64, I absolutely suggest trying to find a copy, especially if you're a racing fan or motorcross fanatic.

Beholder 2 Review

In the end, this is a trip; an experience that will leave you laughing, befuddled, enraged, saddened, and ultimately satisfied. It’s not easy to put Beholder 2 in a box though, as it’s a truly unique blend of gameplay elements - a narrative driven world that is filled with engaging characters, strange places, and mysteries waiting to be solved.

Bears Can’t Drift!? Review

There's clearly a lot of passion and work put into this, and it’s charming and upbeat, with retro influences clear on its sleeves. However, it simply needs so much more polish that I cannot currently recommend a purchase to anyone.

Call of Duty: Warzone Review

Call of Duty: Warzone on Xbox One takes the best – and occasionally the worst – from its own history and mixes it with the knowledge gained from its contemporaries to make an excellent experience that players can easily spend hours joyfully fighting in.

Wasteland Remastered Review

If you're a veteran of the genre, or an old-school player who loved the original, then you'll be very pleased with what's on offer here. Wasteland Remastered on Xbox One is quintessentially an Apple Two/Commodore game re-painted and re-released on a modern day console. It’s very difficult for me to recommend this to any newcomer though, unless they are specifically interested in it from a historical perspective.

Looking back to 2015 and the card combos of Hand of Fate on Xbox One

Hand of Fate is still a wonderful reinvention of the collectable card game genre, seamlessly mixing action-RPG dungeon crawling with addictive deck building mechanics to create a truly unique experience.

Sky Rogue Review

If you have any interest in either a flight sim, or a rogue-like experience, for the reasonable price that it's at, you should buy Sky Rouge immediately. Trust me, you'll be feeling like a top gun in no time.

Cold Silence Review

Cold Silence on Xbox One has some great ideas, however in much of its execution it does not stick the landing; that is sad because you can see there is a truly great and new kind of experience in the seams of this game.

Oniken Review

This is a solid and really engaging hardcore retro throwback, and so if you're looking for a blast to the past, you'll feel like a kid again playing Oniken.
