Skully on Xbox One is a fun game with creative elements, and if you love platformers and want to try something new, then Skully is worth checking out.

Forager on Xbox One is a great investment. The amount of content in the game is phenomenal and it can only get better. If foraging, building, and adventuring are up your alley then I heartily recommend Forager.

Whether or not Aircraft Evolution is worth a purchase comes down to how much you like a challenge and if you’d enjoy bombing a map to oblivion. If both of those things sound good, then Aircraft Evolution’s affordable cost should be all the persuasion you need to pick it up.

People who want to experience the nostalgia of games and cartoons from the ‘80s will most likely enjoy Clash Force on Xbox One, and for the price point, there isn’t much harm in trying it out yourself. It doesn’t really do anything wrong, it just doesn’t do much right either.

There really aren’t many negatives to The Messenger but it certainly won’t be for everyone.

Control’s first DLC release “The Foundation” finally makes its way to Xbox One, thereby ending its three-month exclusivity on PC and PS4. The Foundation takes place immediately following the conclusion of Control’s base game, and needs a completed save to start.

Castle Pals works well as a game that you play when you need to kill a little time when out and about, but sitting down and playing it in one go just isn’t what it was designed for.

Gun Crazy on Xbox One is very predictable and many of the events feel scripted to happen in a certain way each time, so after a few playthroughs there won’t be any surprises. However, for people who like to challenge themselves and can’t rest until they beat their previous score, this is a good little game. But fair warning - after a couple of playthroughs, the main emotion behind replaying the game may be spite.

Rush Rover on Xbox One is a solid roguelike bullet-hell game, and for the price point you can’t go wrong. The game runs well and there is enough variety to provide a few hours of fun. Is it as great as some of the other roguelike bullet-hell games on the market? No, but in terms of investment compared to time played, it definitely gives back more than you have to put in it.

Assassin’s Creed is a powerhouse in the gaming industry. The series made its debut back in 2007 and many gamers became steadfast fans. The series has had many ups and downs since its first instalment, but the momentum of the first games in the series has given Ubisoft the freedom to experiment with different ideas. Fast-forward to 2015 and Ubisoft released Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. It was the first of three games in the Chronicles series and a foray into the unknown for Assassin’s Creed.

One of the biggest criticisms during the lifecycle of the Xbox One was its lack of exclusive games. But over the past couple of years Microsoft has become quite transparent in their plans to focus on their Xbox Play Anywhere initiative instead of focusing on exclusives. Ori and the Blind Forest is possibly one of the best examples of the direction that Microsoft is heading.
