Fortunately, this newest entry into the series promises to be massively improved in regards to the gameplay, including the likes of catches on the run, smarter line blocking and AI, and a whole lot more. Furthermore, it’s expected to feature animations during the action and will incorporate some new stadiums.
The real strength of the Axis Football games is the Franchise Mode and while it hasn’t dramatically changed this year, there are a couple of fresh start-up options which enable random rosters and unlimited funds to be put into place. Amongst the other additions are the inclusion of two-player Coach Mode locally – no online multiplayer though – and a stat tracking system for all football players’ careers within the league.
