Ayasa Shadow of Silence – coming in 2025

You’ll soon get the chance to be captivated by a world shrouded in darkness and mystery with Ayasa: Shadow of Silence.

Indie developer Oneiric Owl has unveiled Ayasa: Shadow of Silence, a promising new platformer that promises to deliver a chilling and immersive experience.

Drawing inspiration from atmospheric titles like Little Nightmares, Ayasa combines quest-driven exploration with mind-bending horror elements, creating a unique and haunting adventure.

A World in Need of a Hero

In Ayasa, players step into the shoes of the titular heroine, a young girl with extraordinary powers. The world of Ayasa, known as the Inverted World, was once a place of harmony, where good and evil coexisted under the watchful eye of Tash, the Absolute.

But that balance has been shattered, and darkness now threatens to consume the six lands of Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference, and Betrayal.

Harness the Power of Light

Armed with the remnants of Tash’s light, Ayasa must journey through these fractured lands, utilizing her unique abilities to restore balance and fend off the encroaching darkness.

Master the powers of time manipulation, invisibility, and energy control to solve puzzles, outwit enemies, and navigate treacherous environments.

Features That Will Intrigue and Terrify

  • Powerful Abilities: Wield Ayasa’s unique powers to overcome obstacles, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies.
  • Themed Lands: Explore six distinct realms, each representing a different human facet, with its own atmosphere, challenges, and secrets.
  • Atmospheric Puzzles: Solve mind-bending puzzles that require both logic and creativity to unravel.
  • Suspenseful Horror: Navigate a world filled with tension, eerie visuals, and unsettling encounters.

A Journey into the Unknown

Ayasa: Shadow of Silence promises a challenging experience for fans of atmospheric platformers and those who enjoy a touch of horror.

With its unique blend of exploration, puzzle-solving, and a compelling narrative, this game is poised to deliver an unforgettable adventure.

Developer Quote

Ayasa is more than a game; it’s an adventure into the unknown, a test of courage, and a fight to bring light back into a world on the edge,” says Edgar Janoyan, the game’s creator. “We wanted to create an experience that feels both mysterious and deeply immersive, where every choice counts.

Ayasa: Shadow of Silence is set to release on PC via Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox, Steam Deck, and Nintendo Switch in 2025.

When it lands, you’ll get the chance to take on a journey into a world of darkness and mystery, where the fate of the Inverted World rests in your hands. Sounds good huh?
