Recently some of TheXboxHub team (and special guests) got together down in London for an evening of iconic video game music with BAFTA Games in Concert, spanning award-winning and nominated pieces from the past 20 years of the BAFTA Games Awards.
Performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, the performance spanned a wide variety of games, from big hitters like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Tomb Raider: Legend, to indie gems such as Virginia and Journey.
So forgive a little showing off at the start of Episode 224 of TheXboxHub Official Podcast, but the team are still on a high after the experience. It’s an intimate affair this time around, as Darren and Gareth get together to reminisce a little, but also shift their focus to some breaking news stories such as the announcement that Baldur’s Gate 3 (there it is again) is getting a TV series.
As it’s the start of the month, it’s also time to preview February’s upcoming releases in the now regular segment which is always a treat to listen to. The next four weeks are looking pretty stacked with some of the best games to release in February, featuring games due for release such as: High on Life 2, REANIMAL, DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN, Disciples: Domination and of course, Resident Evil Requiem.
