The latest addition for Bassmaster Fishing 2022, following on from that of the Predator Equipment Pack will see you able to prepare for the Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk with the addition of this year’s venue, Lake Hartwell, into the game. And whilst new water to cast out onto is always nice, further inclusion of brand-new Challenges, Legendary fish a new core game type and a DLC bundle just seal it.
The biggest update yet for Dovetail’s sports angling title, Bassmaster Fishing 2022, the Lake Hartwell Venue DLC is now available for purchase, download and adding into the base game. As the name suggests, it adds Lake Hartwell, the venue for the 2022 Academy Sports + Outdoors Bassmaster Classic presented by Huk, the Classic 3-round final in Career Mode, new challenges, and more.
For those not in the know, the Bassmaster Classic is the pinnacle of the competitive bass fishing sport and is what every aspiring angler dreams to one day win. And right now, players with a copy of Bassmaster Fishing 2022 to hand can now compete in the 2022 Bassmaster Classic and become the champion in-game with the Lake Hartwell Venue DLC.
Building upon the titles’ 10 Elite Pro Anglers and eight real-world venues, the Dovetail Games team has built Lake Hartwell from the ground up to accurately recreate the experience of fishing the real lake including matching water temperatures, depths, and fish behaviour for the ultimate Classic® experience. The dynamic time of day system helps set the perfect mood for a Classic competition, altering lighting and shadows across the lake for a more immersive experience.
Further to that though, the update also includes support for the Bassmaster Classic 3-round tournament structure and adds new ‘Legendary’ named fish for players to track and catch.

You’ll also find it included in the new Bassmaster Fishing 2022 – 2022 Bassmaster Classic Update bundle – this includes the base game and Lake Hartwell Venue DLC for £36.99. And yep, there’s a discount on that initially too.
But that’s not all and Dovetail Games have also announced that it has signed a long-term license renewal with B.A.S.S., making it the exclusive partner for video games.
