It’s been promised for a few weeks but finally the time has come – the Batman expansion is available in Hot Wheels Unleashed.
After seeing the vehicle and environment rosters of Hot Wheels Unleashed expanded previously, with the likes of James Bond, Street Fighter and the DC Super-Villains Season, it’s now time for the caped crusader to come to the fore, with the Batman expansion bringing a host of great features.
Priced at £11.99, the Hot Wheels Unleashed Batman Expansion is going to be something that many Batman fans are going to go mad over, as they are given the opportunity to jump into the Batmobile and four other cars all inspired by Batman and his friends and foes.
We’ve got 5 vehicles in total and these come in the form of Batman Rebirth, Robin 2.0T, Armored Batman, The Penguin and The Joker GT. Not only do we therefore get the chance to race in the cars of our favourite heroes and villains, but they look great too – in fact, is there anyone out there who is able to ignore the draw they deliver.
Alongside the cars though, we also have some other goodies. There’s the Batcave to race around for one, but there are also new track builder modules, posters for the basement, and tons of customisation options in terms of the walls, floors, doors, decorations and more. Throw in some additional profile icons and tags, and you’re pretty much sorted.
The Batman Expansion DLC is included in the Hot Wheels Pass Vol 1 if you’ve already grabbed that. Otherwise, get over to the Xbox Store. There are two different listings for the pack, dependant on whether you are on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S – no Smart Delivery here 🙁 You’ll find it on other formats too.
