Battle it out with the tactical turn-based strategy of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf on Xbox

There are a ton of Warhammer products already doing the rounds on Xbox, Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground, Chaosbane Slayer Edition and Mechanicus for three, but those at HeroCraft reckon there’s room for some more – Space Wolf style!

Warhammer 40,000 – Space Wolf arrives on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S to provide fans of the universe the chance to battle it out in some seriously tactical turn-based strategy calls. It will have you taking charge of the iconic Space Wolves as they take the fight to the wicked servants of Chaos, and the sinister Necrons with it.

To emerge victorious in this fight you’ll need to make the most of your strategic calls, working with the turn-based tactical gameplay that brings Warhammer 40,000 – Space Wolf together, utilising a host of armour and weapon choices along the way.

It all promises to deliver an epic Warhammer 40,000 themed story, along with a rather unique survival mode in which the Space Wolves will battle until there is no tomorrow. And just for good measure, all the DLC that you could imagine is thrown in too.

It’ll be interesting to see how HeroCraft handle this Warhammer effort as their previous games – the likes of Under the Jolly Roger, Marble Duel – are completely different affairs to this premise. We just hope that they do the Warhammer name proud, delivering something that fans can unite with.

Our full review is currently in the works and will let you know how Warhammer 40,000 – Space Wolf plays out on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. In the meantime though, the Xbox Store will sort you out with the download you are looking for. A ÂŁ14.99 price tag seems to make this pretty tempting. The game is also available on Nintendo Switch and PS4

Game Description:

Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf is a turn-based tactical strategy in which you have to take command of the Space Wolves and join the battle against the wicked servants of Chaos and the sinister Necrons.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
