Are you ready to immerse yourself in an old-school pixel world? Inukari – Chase of Deception is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox.

Announced by RedDeer.games (they previously behind the likes of Trash Quest and Gem Wizards Tactics) is a unique retro platformer, Inukari – Chase of Deception. It will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch later this year.

Sold as a game which will drop you into an old-school pixel world, in Inukari you will need to be both fast and determined, as you begin to feel the draw and nostalgia of the good, old jump & run action game. It’s a game that will have you heading out on one of the most very important of missions. You see, at a time when people have stopped respecting wildlife, bad things have begun to happen and those bad things need to stop. This is where you come in, hoping to restore the order and peace, connecting people back with nature. It could be said that you are their last hope.

Inukari – Chase of Deception offers a classic retro platforming experience – Jump and run through levels, illusive like a wind, collect goodies and fight enemies and bosses. With action that promises to be both smooth and dynamic, getting faster and faster is the name of the game here. And should you find yourself immersed in the world, it’ll sure to be due to the stylish way things come together as one, working the detailed pixel art visuals and original 8-bit music along the way.

The key features of Inukari – Chase of Deception that you need to focus on include:

  • – 24 levels divided into 3 worlds
  • – Cute retro pixel art visuals
  • – Dynamic gameplay with unique pace
  • – Smooth action and boss fights
  • – Upbeat 8-bit soundtrack

Are you ready to act before it’s too late? Inukari – Chase of Deception will be coming to Xbox and Switch later in 2022. We’ll be sure to let you know when it arrives.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
