Coming from the creative mind of those behind Goat Simulator, the world of Just Die Already on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC wants only one thing – you dead! The thing is, you ain’t ready to go just yet…
Having split the gaming community right down the middle with the unmistakable Goat Simulator, Armin Ibrisagic will shortly be breaking back into the console and PC market with the old people mayhem sandbox – Just Die Already – with Curve Digital helping push it out to a wider audience; an old and bold audience.
Due to hit Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store, Just Die Already puts you in the shoes of an old person looking for free care. The problem is, this is a game that is set in the near future, at a time when the growth of the world’s population has ground to a halt, and where nobody is paying into the pension pot. This means in order to live out your final years in style, you’ll be needing to perform challenges – dangerous ones at that – in order to qualify for free care.
Running as either a solo or up-to-four player online affair, Just Die Already will see you risking things by getting hit by cars, it’ll see you happy to lose a limb or two after jumping into a catapult, and it’ll be absolutely fine with you breaking some bones all in the hope that the death defying antics allow you to earn some cash – and a spot in the best retirement home available.
Very much a tongue-in-cheek game in the same vein as Goat Simulator, the full launch date of Just Die Already on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC will be revealed in the coming weeks. Until that time though we urge you to check out the latest trailer that has emerged.
Let us know your thoughts on this one too – we’d love to hear from you.
