Prepare to lose yourself in the aesthetically pleasing world of Tokyo 42, where becoming a hitman is apparently the best way to prove you’re innocence.
In Tokyo 42, players are placed in control of an unnamed man who’s been framed for a murder he didn’t actually commit. This isometric twin-stick shooter will see you become a hitman in order to clear your name and complete missions to earn star ratings based on your stealth skills. Mastering the bullet physics and being sneaky is the way to succeed in this open-world story of deadly assassins, a dodgy corporation and erm… tactical cats. But it’s not all solo play, as there is a multiplayer deathmatch game type on offer too.
We’d highly recommend you give our hands-on preview a read for a more in-depth look at what it’s all about, whilst it’s worth noting that the full review is on its way. If you’re convinced about purchasing Tokyo 42 on Xbox One, then just £15.99 is all you’ll need to spend on the Xbox Games Store.
