You may think that the little green space alien in Infestor is a bit of a cutey, but you’d be far from the truth – this guy is a body snatcher, and he needs your help.

The latest title to rock up from out of the Ratalaika Games stable, Infestor will have you taking charge of this little green alien as you look to invade your way across the galaxy, taking down colonies in the process.

Created by those at Woblyware and now available to purchase and download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (with full Smart Delivery and X|S Optimisation), PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Infestor will see you pushing your way through 70 of the trickiest platforming puzzle levels, as you help this little alien take control of the human race. You see, without taking on a host, you’ll be left helpless, unable to even perform the mosts simple of tasks.

Running a price of £4.99 from the Xbox Store, you’ll need all the human help you can get as you attempt to jump, to push and pull crates, to avoid spikes and gun turrets and more, as the classic pixel action unfolds.

If previous Ratalaika Games titles are anything to go by, this cheap and cheerful body snatching puzzle platformer should well be worth a shot. Chances are it’ll deliver a ton of super simple to grab achievements and Gamerscore too – what’s not to like!?

We’ll have a full review for you in the days ahead. For now though you can grab Infestor on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

Game Description:

Welcome to Human Colony 31-5B! Playing Infestor you are a cute little green space alien invading your way across the colony. However since there are many physical obstacles in your way, you must gain control of the human inhabitants and use their powerful bodies to perform tasks that are beyond your tiny stature. Jump high, push heavy crates, avoid pointy spikes, gun turrets, and other hazards in each brain-teasing level as you snatch bodies of the human race one at a time. How far can you take the colony conquest as you progress through 70 challenging levels?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
