When a poor little pufferfish finds himself like a fish out of water, there’s only one thing left to do – to Blow & Fly his way to safety.
The premise of the latest from Eastasiasoft is that us players get the chance to take on the role of a little blowfish; one who finds himself out of his tank and desperate for a new water source. The only place of safety is the nearest toilet bowl.
Taking on this little fishy life, you’ll need to do as the title of the game suggests, mopping up the last few remnants of liquid that is left on the floor, utilising it to blow and then fly your way to safety. Do so across no less than seventy of the finest physics-based puzzling platforms, and this little fish will fight to see another day. Yep, this is a mile away from the multitude of fishing titles available on Xbox.
Priced at £4.19 and available to download and play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Blow & Fly will see you well rewarded – new unlockable fish, additional levels and secret areas all await this little puffer. Of course, it won’t be easy though and should that all-important water source run out, you’ll be left to utilise nothing but a simple roll.
Thank god then that the levels and stages you’ll navigate will be full to the brim with a host of obstacles and items – both of the good and bad variety.

Propel yourself through the air with a blast of water and roll your way to freedom! Take the role of a blowfish and explore physics-based puzzles that require you to move and aim in tandem. Your owner’s naughty son destroyed your aquarium, and now you’re desperately in need of water! Use what little liquid is left on the floor to move around and retreat to a toilet bowl which might save your life or flush you down into far more challenging realms, escaping which will require all of your agility and creativity! There are two ways to traverse the levels in Blow & Fly, rolling and blowing. You can roll along the floor and blow water out of your mouth, thus launching yourself in the opposite direction. Every time you hit the floor, you regain a small amount of liquid, just enough to get yourself into the air again. Utilize this ability to avoid hazards such as pitfalls or spikes, and make good use of the jump pads, gravity switches, keys and water drops to reach each watery safe haven. If you wish to survive, you will need to master your abilities, and for each obstacle you pass, there will be a greater challenge ahead!
