Due to launch on PC in the next few days, Castle Flipper will give players the opportunity to become a medieval house renovator, building up to overhaul the castle of your dreams. But after PC gamers get that opportunity, console players will too be able to make their kingdom their own.

Castle Flipper will drop onto PC come May 26th 2021, but the big news is that the game will also be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Whilst there is no confirmed release window for the console version, we’re expecting to see it either nearer the end of 2021, or as we move into 2022.

Castle Flipper has been created by the Polish team at Pyramid Games, with Ultimate Games behind the publishing angle. And that means it’s going to be a busy few years for the latter team, what with them already having confirmed fingers in pies for Farm Mechanic Simulator, Ultimate Summer and more.

But what exactly will the game deliver? Well, think of a medieval take on the ideas pushed out by the brilliant House Flipper, and you’ll be somewhere near the mark. It will see you given the chance to take on the role of a medieval renovator and builder, taking on a piece of land and doing your best to enhance it with the skills and tools at hand. Eventually you’ll build up to own your own kingdom and the castles of your dreams.

The gameplay will focus on carrying out specific orders, cleaning, repairing and furnishing any building under your control, developing it as you wish. Expect to be treated to a range of locations too – castles will be at the fore of the action, but barns, mansions, palaces and even pirate ships will all need a good seeing to.

“We are transporting players into the European reality at the turn of the 16th and 17th century. In addition to medieval buildings, the game also features architectural solutions known from the Baroque and Renaissance period, which opens even more possibilities. We have focused on calm, relaxing gameplay, which also features elements stimulating the players’ creativity. We have developed, among others, a proprietary freebuilding system that allows you to freely create a variety of structures” – said Jacek Wyszyński, CEO at Pyramid Games S.A.

“The Pyramid Games S.A. team has combined the relaxing gameplay similar to House Flipper, the ability to create basically any structures you wish from the ground up, and the medieval setting. Castle Flipper also offers many other elements. You can, for example, build houses for rent, choose the animals for your farm, but also completely destroy your own building, if you happen to be dissatisfied with it. Players can expect a lot of attractions. Castle Flipper is a game that can bring you many hours of good fun” – said Rafał Jelonek, COO at Ultimate Games S.A.

Features will include:

  • castle renovations;
  • various locations and challenges;
  • many tools to choose from;
  • build castles and other structures;
  • develop your skills;
  • our own freebuilding system;
  • the Middle Ages, Baroque and Renaissance.

Should you fancy a look at what Castle Flipper is able to provide, you’ll find the game releasing in the next year or so on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Of course, if you can’t wait that long, give the PC via Steam release a shot. It’s probably worth you taking in the trailer below too.
