Girls of the Tower may be the first game we have come across to openly label itself as a ‘galgame’ (games known for attractive female heroes dressed in what we struggle to describe as ‘armour’), but that’s perhaps by the by.
If it’s an intricate JRPG crossed with a roguelike and autochess title you are looking for (with more then thrown in), then look no further!
Choices, Choices…
Now available on Xbox, to complement prior PC (Steam) and Switch releases, Girls of the Tower is an incredibly complex roguelike that will have you reading over stats, ability descriptions and more, all in order to take down the demon force that hide in the shadows of the human realm.
Your goal, as the controller of the four main protagonists in the game, is to choose between tons of abilities, followers to recruit, and moves to deploy in turn-based combat in order to defeat the enemies that stand in your way.
If Slay the Spire had even more cards to take for a spin, then Girls of the Tower would be that.
