It hasn’t been long since we were first drawn into the story of Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin with the release of Dishonored 2. But Bethesda are still pushing for it to be the best it possibly can and have now detailed that two free game updates will be hitting home.
Free Update 1 has now arrived in beta form on PC, and will be dropping for both Xbox One and PS4 players from Mon 19th Dec 2016. This first free update will bring the much requested New Game Plus to Dishonored 2 letting you begin anew as either character but with full access to the full suite of abilities. All Bonecharm Traits and Runes picked up the first time round will also be in place, letting you re-assign the powers as you see fit.
But that’s not all as from January 2017, the second free update arrives. This will bring two new features – Mission Select and additional Custom Difficulty Settings. You’ll therefore be able to tailor the game to your play style, adjusting the challenge based on a wide array of settings.
If you thought reprising your role as the supernatural assassin in Dishonored 2 wasn’t good enough already, then the first couple of free updates look to make it better still.
Personally, we think Dishonored 2 on Xbox One is already darn good, but anything that can tempt us back in again is a good thing. Have a read of our review and you will realise why we think its so good.
