BLEACH Rebirth of Souls – coming to Xbox, PlayStation, PC

We’ve recently had the opportunity to get hands-on with BLEACH: Brave Souls for free on Xbox. On the back of that launch comes news from Bandai Namco and Tamsoft Corporation – BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

A rebirth of souls?

In BLEACH Rebirth of Souls players will find the opportunity to partake in the most thrilling of battles, with their favourite characters from the legendary anime front and centre. And whilst info is still pretty thin on the ground, if you are looking to awaken the blade and reverse your fate, then BLEACH Rebirth of Souls should be one to keep an eye on.

Due to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, in BLEACH Rebirth of Souls players can incarnate some of their favourite characters from the legendary anime franchise, all as they look to fight in battles that will put their powerful sword abilities to the test.

With the possibility to unlock new blades and forms in battle, you’ll be able to reverse any outcome as your character can become stronger as defeat looms closer.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls will include some of the most known characters from the franchise. That means you should expect to see Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida and Yasutora Sado (Chad) up close and personal. And you can be sure that many others will be detailed later.

What’s BLEACH?

If you’re unaware of BLEACH, then this is a popular sword-fighting battle action comic series that ran in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016. The TV animation series rolled out between 2004 to March 2012, whilst a total of four movie versions have been released so far. The final chapter, Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, features all-new character designs and more powerful characters.

If that sounds like your bag, then we’d highly advise you to spend some time with the free-to-play BLEACH: Brave Souls in the build up to launch of BLEACH Rebirth of Souls.

We’ll keep you looped as the days, weeks and months progress and as Bandai Namco reveal more.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
