After waiting for almost a year, Ninja Theory’s 4v4 brawler is out now on Xbox One, PC, Xbox Play Anywhere and good old Xbox Game Pass. Looking in from the outside, Bleeding Edge might seem like just another hero shooter but it’s so much more than that.
Available right now, Bleeding Edge is more pre-occupied with melee combat and team combos then any other hero based game – Overwatch – on the market. While ranged attacks exist with some characters, you’ll need to utilise your entire teams abilities and skills to takedown enemies.
Bleeding Edge is also less concerned with the amount of kills you can get and is instead more objective driven. You’ll need to work with your team carefully to complete objectives and the game won’t reward you for trying to get solo kills.
As far as we know, there’ll be no micro transactions in the game too. All the unlockables can be obtained in game, which is another nice departure to contemporary multiplayer experiences.
