Swords. Whips. Retro action. Free to download. What’s not to like about Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon on Xbox One and the Xbox Games With Gold scheme?
Stripped of its price tag for the next month or so is the latest game to make the most of the Xbox Games With Gold freebie goodness. Usually priced up at ÂŁ8.99, this little indie title may not allow for the biggest savings ever, but a free game should never be ignored…
Especially when that free game sees you playing out proceedings as a demon slayer who just loves to utilise a sword and whip, taking down demons and navigating through a dark, rather scary, castle, But that is what is happening with Curse of the Moon and after seeing the game first release on Xbox One back in June 2018 after its creation as a stretch goal for the Kickstarted Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, we now see it making the most of the brilliant Xbox Games With Gold scheme.
You shouldn’t be sat there expecting a lot with Bloodstained Curse of the Moon, but even in its mini-game guise, it’s nice to see something a little different arrive for free to all Xbox Gold members.
Of course, in order to make the most of the free love that is on offer with this game then you’ll need to be the proud holder of a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription, before heading to the Xbox Store and initiating your download well before the end of February 2019.
If you wish to know more about the free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games being given away via Xbox Games With Gold for February 2019 then we’ve got you sorted.
Game Description:
Battle with swords and whips in this retro-style action game brought to you by game creator Koji Igarashi and Inti Creates! Play as Zangetsu, a demon slayer bearing a deep grudge, who must travel through perilous lands to defeat a powerful demon lurking in a dark castle. Zangetsu will meet fellow travelers along the way, who can join your journey as playable characters. Switching to these characters with their unique abilities will unlock new paths through the treacherous stages.
