Blueberry takes a different approach to storytelling than most platformers.
Rather than focusing on combat or high scores, players follow the life of Blueberry herself, experiencing pivotal moments from childhood through to old age. Each section of the game acts as a memory, slowly revealing the events, relationships and struggles that shaped who she became.
The central structure is built around the Tower of Life, with players climbing through key chapters of Blueberry’s story while piecing together fragments of her past.

While platforming and exploration form the backbone of the experience, Blueberry also places a heavy emphasis on player choice.
Throughout the story you’ll guide Blueberry through important decisions, influencing how she responds to difficult moments and how she processes the events of her life. Those choices impact her emotional state and ultimately determine which ending players reach.
What’s interesting is how the game approaches mental wellbeing. Blueberry’s emotional health is represented through her blues, which players must help manage throughout the adventure.
