It may be many years since the wrestling scene was frequented by the most awesome of WWE titles, but 2020 is looking to be very different as 2K let players brawl without limits with the massive over-the-top, arcade styled WWE 2K Battlegrounds on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia and PC.
Available to purchase and download from the relevant digital stores this very minute, WWE 2K Battlegrounds looks set to do something that the most recent WWE gaming experiences have failed in – bring fun to the masses.
Running an arcade style that goes totally against the previous simulation experiences, WWE 2K Battlegrounds promises to be nothing but huge amounts of fun as you get to work your way through a full-on Campaign mode as you build a whole roster of WWE Superstars. It is here where you’ll be found working with the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bolo Reynolds, Jessica Johnson and more, traveling the world, beating back objectives and becoming king of the globe.
Further to that though is the inclusion of an Exhibition mode, allowing the madness to go local or online with match types such as One-on-One, Tag Team, Triple Threat, Fatal Four Way, Steel Cage and Royal Rumbles. Drop in a further King of the Battleground mode, a Battleground Challege mode AND some online tournaments and well, WWE 2K Battlegrounds looks to have the lot.
