Reckon your butt can reign supreme? You’ll be able to find out this May when Brief Battles hits Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
It was way back in 2017 when we first heard of Brief Battles, but now a launch is fast becoming a reality. Coming direct from Juicy Cupcake, Brief Battles will see you facing off against other underwearriors as you make the most of some super-powered underpants to show your friends just whose britches are the biggest.
Arriving for download on May 7th 2019 and setting you back £12.49, Brief Battles will be present on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as a battle of the butts takes hold across 50 multiplayer arenas and numerous game modes.
Fast paced action will be in place as you attempt to navigate past treacherous acid pools, over slippery floors, and the most rickety of platforms in order to lay waste to friends and foes with powerful undies.
This will see you being able to join up to four friends for an intense battle, slipping on super-powered underpants such as Flaming Hot Pants and Buns of Steel, and competing for the title of biggest britches in fast-paced butt-em-up rounds. There will be a variety of local multiplayer modes too, including Knockout, team or free-for-all Classic Battle, Hold the Gold, and Underpants Collector, create ample opportunities to kick enemies’ butts.
Further to that, you’ll be able to fly solo or with a partner in single-player and co-op challenges, unlocking new skins in the process. Grab a pair of lucky underwear and run through places like the Frosty Fields and Dusty Desert. Prove mastery over The Basics, demolish tricky Tighty-Whitey Targets, take back the arenas from hordes of foes in Butt-em-up Battles or Endless Butt-em-up and more.
But that’s not all and Brief Battles will also include a variety of unique crossover skins, with the likes of Yooka-Laylee, Bit.Trip.Runner, Machinarium, and more included. In fact, the following will launch onto the battlefield come released day:
- Yooka-Laylee Violet (Yooka-Laylee),
- CommanderVideo Chad (Bit.Trip.Runner),
- Machinarium Tubbins (Machinarium),
- Goo Kevin (World of Goo),
- Toto Sparrow Deluxe (Toto Temple Deluxe),
- Stumpy Kevin (Stumpt Gamers)
“Brief Battles has something to offer everyone, whether they want to train their skills alone or show friends what they’ve learned in a 4-player free-for-all,” said Andrew Freeth, co-founder, Juicy Cupcake. “And our new crossover skins will let their butts not only reign supreme but do so in style.”
