Fresh Tracks now has a fully confirmed release date and it’ll be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on August 12th 2025.
With the release date confirmed, Fresh Tracks invites players to strap on their skis for a non-stop music-driven adventure!
You’ll get to journey through the snow-covered land of Norwyn accompanied by powerful Mythics, who transform the world, the stories, and the soundtrack so your trail can change from a blazing metal anthem to a theatrical orchestral tragedy, or a shimmering pop ballad, depending on who is with you.
Buffalo Buffalo is thrilled to introduce the star-studded cast, who give voice to the Mythics in-game. Peter Stormare (Fargo, American Gods, Constantine, Until Dawn) will play Sogvar the God of Metal, Michael Antonakos (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Gotham Knights) and Ian Hanlin (Sonic Prime, LEGO Jurassic World) will play Fars & Dram the Gods of Orchestra, Ceara Morgana (Starship Troopers: Extermination, Super Team Canada) will play Koda the Goddess of Pop, and Bethany Brown (The 100, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) will play Mar the Queen of Terror.

New indie studio Buffalo Buffalo has announced its debut title, Fresh Tracks, a unique blend of roguelite skiing and rhythm-based gameplay.
Set in a mythical Nordic world, Fresh Tracks invites players to embark on a musical adventure where every movement, combat encounter, and progression element is synchronised with a dynamic soundtrack.
Ski, Fight, and Groove
In Fresh Tracks, you take on the role of Skaii, a skier traversing the snow-covered landscapes of Norwyn. As you glide through the world, you’ll encounter a variety of obstacles and enemies, requiring you to jump, dodge, and fight to the rhythm of the music.
The game’s unique blend of skiing and rhythm mechanics creates a captivating flow state, where your actions and the music become intertwined.
Roguelite Elements and Replayability
