buildings have feelings too xbox

There’s a pretty high chance that you will be familiar with the needs and requirements of a city sim. I mean, since the iconic Sim City released way back when, there have been a host of other titles muscling in on the genre, focusing on the minutest details of city management. But did you know that those buildings you have spent time creating and destroying have actually had feelings? Well, they have, and that is where the super quirky, rather humorous, brilliantly named Buildings Have Feelings Too! comes in.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, Buildings Have Feelings Too! is a city management sim like no other. It is here where you play out the role of the Halfway Hotel, a building that arrives in town in order to appease other buildings. You see, in Buildings Have Feelings Too! things are quite right and as time and years pass, the buildings present start to fear for their future. It’ll be up to you to ease their fears, all while helping upgrade, enhance and turn the city into a thriving one.

The usual rules will apply in Buildings Have Feelings Too!, in as much as it’ll be in your hands as to how things progress. You may need to demolish structures to make way for new fangled ideas – you may have to line your streets with coffee shops where old public houses used to sit – or you may need to spend time repairing the structures that are already in town. Keeping buildings sweet has never been more true than here – throw a polluting chimney down in a residential area and you can be sure to hear about it.

Thankfully, making changes in Buildings Have Feelings Too! is a cinch – just whistle and you’ll find a trail of homes, warehouses and more following your every desire. And if you don’t keep them happy, well, your life won’t be worth living with fast witted, well quipped buildings all ready to present a variety of challenges.

With a real blend of structures, ideas, and planning needs, along with a move from the Victorian landscape right on through to that of the modern day, expanding and building our neighbourhoods should well be a complex business.

Features include:

  • Discover and equip a wide range of businesses from the Victorian era right through to the modern day.
  • Befriend a range of Buildings, each with their own aspirations, hopes and fears, as they come to grips with the changing world around them.
  • Customise and rearrange your city’s layout by moving buildings and find the perfect combination for your city to grow.
  • Expand across multiple neighbourhoods of your city, discovering new landmark characters and districts.

However, with a fun, rather humorous take on the usual staid city management genre – not that the likes of Cities: Skylines is boring – there is immediately much to love about Buildings Have Feeling Too!. It will be our full review of the game which is able to deliver the finer details and final vote though – keep an eye out for it in the days ahead.

If you’re sold though and reckon building control is your bag, head on over to the digital store of your choosing and take home a copy of Buildings Have Feelings Too right now. You’ll find it on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, along with the usual offerings for PlayStation, Switch and PC.
