Burn your brain – Midnight is Lost on Xbox

-

midnight is lost

If Midnight is Lost wasn’t confusing enough to start with, we’ve spent time watching trailers, looking at screenshots and running the usual searches in hope of understanding what the latest puzzler to hit Xbox is all about. Clueless? Yes, we are. Although that is not necessarily new.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Midnight is Lost is the latest puzzle game to arrive on the Xbox Store. A single player only experience which utilises some rather fun little visuals, if you’re in the market for a new test of the mind and are looking to burn your brain, this may well suit.

What we gather from the screens and trailers and press blurb is that Midnight is the helper of a little witch, a cat in fact. Now, we’ve had more cat-based puzzlers come our way in the last six months or so then we care to remember (Cat Slide Tiles, Sokocat – Combo, Sissa’s Path), but we’ll not hold that against what Robotizar Games and QUByte Interactive have put together.

The task at hand is to help Midnight overcome the trials and tribulations that lay ahead, working through the adventure and solving the puzzles – it’s just that these need solving backwards. As if that makes any sense to us!

For the low asking price, we’d suspect that Midnight is Lost would appeal to a good few players, especially those looking for a new puzzling hit. If that’s the case, head over to the Xbox Store and see what you find. It’ll only cost you £3.29. Bargain.

We’ll look to run a review once we fully understand what the hell is going on.

Game Description:

Midnight is a witch’s animal helper, more precisely, a cat that has accidentally ended up on a mysterious island. Now he is lost in a weird world and needs your help to get back home. Before the adventure begins, there is one more thing you must know… Midnight is lost give you a unique and challenging experience that need to be solved backward. Get ready to burn your brain with this game!
