They may not be as fast as planes, as luxury as (some) trains, or as fun as hovercrafts, but the humble bus may be the most convenient of transport methods. And for those of you who can’t get enough bus action in the real world, then Bus Simulator 21 caters on the virtual front.
Despite the main Bus Simulator 21 game releasing back in September 2021, it is still receiving a swathe of both free and paid updates. Today marks the release of the Next Stop DLC – a free update to those who own the main game, complete with large-scale map expansion – as well as the launch of the paid-for Ebusco DLC, bringing the famed Ebusco brand to the title.
Starting with the Next Stop update, and this sees a major expansion being made to the North America-based ‘Angel Shores’ map. Both free roam and campaign missions will take you to a number of new bustling cities and districts, as well as some calmer, more rural parks, culminating in a stunning, mountainous national park. Beware, however – this national park is home to Bus Simulator 21’s first ever deer crossings: we certainly do not want our horned friends smeared over your windscreen, so drive safely!
Secondly, the Ebusco DLC will introduce three zero-emission buses to the game, courtesy of the Ebusco brand. Whether you pick up passengers in the Ebusco 2.2 – 12m, the Ebusco 2.2 – 18m, or the Ebusco 3.0, you can rest assured you are driving sustainably. This pack also brings with it six new interiors, to give your passengers the most comfortable of travels.
But that’s not all, folks! Releasing today is also Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop – Gold Edition for some £42.49, the most comprehensive version of the game, with all previous paid DLC included! If you are a new bus enthusiast, this is the version to go for.
It’s an exciting day for Bus Simulator 21 – the Next Stop expansion, Ebusco DLC, and Gold Edition are all launching today. To pick up a copy of Bus Simulator 21 Standard Edition on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One, head over to the Xbox Store where the game costs £44.99. The game is also available on PS5, PS4 and PC.
