The Eightfold Path – now on Xbox and PC

An indie game that is firmly focused on buddhism and meditation, The Eightfold Path releases onto Xbox and PC.

A path to enlightenment

Created by the Friendly Llama team, picked up for publishing through Starseed Forest, The Eightfold Path is now available for purchase and play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Priced at £16.99, if you’re in the market for a little game that promises the deepest of journeys, you may just have found it.

The Eightfold Path plays out as a cross between a puzzler and an exploration adventure. It’s here where Buddhism comes to the fore, all as you look to take in a quest of enlightenment. To get there, you’ll need to navigate your way through a whole series of desires – and sufferings.

With that Buddhism angle comes that of meditation. In The Eightfold Path that means searching for solace, tranquility, time to unwind and refocus. The question is, can you take the teachings that The Eightfold Path is telling, unlocking that enlightenment as you go?

Buy now and experience a new adventure

We’re intrigued by what The Eightfold Path has to offer. If you agree, then head to a digital store right now.

It’s present on Steam if you’re PC capable, but for us it’ll be the Xbox Store that sorts out an Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S download. This is a game that is fully optimised for Series consoles too.

The Eightfold Path Description

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
