Can you survive? Remnant From The Ashes comes to Xbox One, PS4 and PC

If you have interest in the latest third-person survival-action shooter that is Remnant From The Ashes, you may well have found yourself dropping your cash in early. And if you did that, not only would you have noticed you would be getting exclusive character armours, and a bundle of survival materials, but early VIP access would also be yours. But if you didn’t? Well, it’s time to try and survive as Remnant From The Ashes is here for all.

Available to download right now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC is Remnant From the Ashes, as the game launches in full following a previous VIP-only weekend.

VIP Early Access used to be the name of the game, but now all eyes are set on the full release of Remnant as it is time to get in on the action, grab yourself a head start, and learn the way of the post-apocalyptic world in which humanity is struggling to survive.

It is this world which is totally overrun by monstrous creatures, and as one of the very last remnants of humanity, you’ll be tasked with heading on out and taking down swathes of enemies and bosses. How you do this though is totally down to you and should you wish to go it alone and hope for the best, or team up with two others to ensure the odds are stacked in your favour, Remnant From The Ashes allows for it. In fact, it positively promotes it and it is possibly only be joining up with others will you really be able to get a grip on proceedings, before rebuilding and retaking what was originally lost.

Thankfully you’ll be well kitted out in your quest and even though Remnant promises to throw more than 100 types of enemy at you, and 20 epic bosses for you to attempt to take down, it also allows you to fully utilise an arsenal of weapons, armour pieces and special mods. It is these which should bring plenty of tactical scope to the play.

Getting hold of the pre-order of Remnant From The Ashes may have sorted out many, but now the full launch is here things just begin to ramp up in excitement levels. Even though you may have missed the early VIP access, and have found the pre-order bonuses of three exclusive character armours, a survival pack full of weapon crafting materials, medical supplies, and a temporary XP boost, have gone, chances are you’ll probably be able to buy those further down the line anyways. We’ll let you know if they become available again.

FIGHT. ADAPT. OVERCOME. -As one of the last remnants of humanity, you’ll set out alone or alongside up to two other players to face down hordes of deadly enemies. With over 100 varieties of enemies, 20 epic bosses, and endless possible combat scenarios, it’s going to take everything you’ve got to make it out alive.

ENDLESS FANTASTIC REALMS AWAIT. -Explore dynamically-generated worlds that change each time you play through them, creating new maps, enemy encounters, quest opportunities, and in-world events. Each of the game’s four unique worlds is filled with monstrous denizens and environments that will provide fresh challenges with each playthrough. Adapt and explore… or die trying.

CRAFT. UPGRADE. SPECIALIZE. -Overcome tough-as-nails enemies and epic bosses throughout hostile environments to earn experience, valuable loot and upgrade materials you can use to build a wicked arsenal of weapons, armor, and modifications to approach each encounter dozens of unique ways.

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. -Invading other worlds to seek an end to the Root is dangerous and survival is far from guaranteed. Team up with up to two other players to increase your chances of survival. Teamwork is necessary to make it through the game’s toughest challenges… and unlock its greatest rewards.

If you haven’t already done so then heading to the relevant digital store for your platform should be the way to go. The £33.49 that the Xbox Store is asking for a copy of the Xbox One version of the game seems spot on for the amount of content included but should you prefer the way of the PlayStation or just love a PC mouse and keyboard combo – not that we don’t, the Razer Turret for Xbox One is stunning – then other stores are in place.
