The Tag Along Obsession – now on Xbox and PlayStation

There’s no doubt about it, there’s something deeply uncomfortable about abandoned hotels in horror games. Empty corridors, flickering lights, rooms left untouched for years. You know the likes; they always feel like places where something terrible happened. Why the hell do we want to play THE TAG-ALONG OBSESSION so much then?

See, that’s exactly the energy THE TAG-ALONG OBSESSION is chasing as it launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

Published by Eastasiasoft and developed by LuLuDu Tech, this cinematic first-person horror experience follows a reporter dragged back into the site of a tragedy she barely survived. And from the sound of things, whatever happened there isn’t finished with her yet.

A Return To The Scene Of The Nightmare

You play as Hui-Ting, a television reporter investigating a long-abandoned resort tied to a disturbing urban legend. The assignment ends in disaster, leaving her as the sole survivor of a horrific incident that kills the rest of her crew. The thing is, getting out alive is only the beginning.

Nightmares begin to bleed into reality. Strange visions follow her home. Desperate for answers, Hui-Ting visits a spiritual medium who delivers the worst possible news – a vengeful spirit has attached itself to her.

And the only way to stop the curse? That is to go back. Right back to the resort where it all started.

Explore, Hide And Survive

THE TAG-ALONG OBSESSION mixes exploration, puzzle solving and stealth as players move through the decaying remains of the resort, searching for clues while avoiding the supernatural entities lurking inside.

You won’t be charging into combat here. Survival comes from staying calm, solving problems, and keeping out of sight when things turn dangerous.

The resort itself sounds like the real star of the show too. This is a place that if filled with hidden stories, forgotten atrocities and lingering spirits that refuse to move on. In fact, every room appears to hold another piece of the mystery.

Can You Break The Curse?

At ÂŁ20.99, THE TAG-ALONG OBSESSION is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, complete with Play Anywhere support on Xbox and PC. Here’s your Xbox Store link.

If you’re after a horror game focused on mystery, atmosphere and supernatural dread, this abandoned resort may be worth checking into. Just don’t expect a peaceful stay.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
