We recently told you that Carmageddon: Max Damage would be arriving on consoles later this year…well now we’ve got a confirmed release date, a lovely trailer and some new screenshots!
Not only have Sold Out and Stainless Games announced that Carmageddon: Max Damage will release on June 3rd 2016, but it’ll now be dropping both digitally and at retail. Priced at £29.99 / $39.99 / €39.99, Max Damage will be available simultaneously on Xbox One and PS4 as the latest installment in the cult racing series brings players a full tank of vehicular carnage, power-up fuelled destruction and pedestrian pummelling. With a huge ix of campaign races promised, the chance to go head-to-head in Car Crusher mode and speed towards the chequered flag in a classic Death Race mode, both fans of previous games or those who have never had the chance to play a Carmageddon title before should be more than happy.
Garry Williams, CEO of Sold Out, said, “Carmageddon has an infamous 19 year legacy, it’s a one-of-a-kind franchise, and we felt that a Stainless Games and Sold Out partnership would be no different. We’re delighted to be riding shotgun with Stainless Games on Carmageddon: Max Damage, and look forward to the insanity ahead.”
Jason Garber, Publishing Director at Stainless Games added, “Working with Sold Out to bring Carmageddon: Max Damage to retail is not only a significant new chapter in the history of the brand and studio, but vitally, enables us to unleash our motoring mayhem upon the console world, across both the physical and digital market simultaneously.”
Prepare yourself – June is going to be nuts!
