Ary and the Secret of Seasons offers the joys of Spring and the dead of Winter

I think it’s going to be very easy to misconstrue what it is that Ary and the Secret of Seasons really offers. It immediately offers a power fantasy of a young adventurer taking on the world and winning, before pulling that from underneath you as you explore what this game is. It offers a charming level of brightness and casts that aside as it tells a surprisingly mature tale. Needless to say, this won’t be a game summed up in a single paragraph.

Don’t Get Caught With Your Pants Down Playing These Games on the National Underwear Day

Whether you celebrate them or not, most of us know about these all-important festivities. Christmas, Easter, Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving and, most importantly, the Jeff Goldblum Day. But there are other oddball celebrations, like May the 4th celebrating the Star Wars Day or November 7th paying tribute to the Mass Effect series. It just so happens that there's also a day celebrating underwear - the National Underwear Day on August 5th. To celebrate National Underwear Day, this article is comprised of weird and kinky games from the land of the rising sun. Enjoy!

Looking back to 2015 and the Time Capsule that was Rare Replay

As an Xbox website, it would be remiss to say that the Xbox One has had its’ detractors this generation. After stumbling about with their Xbox One reveal a few years before, Microsoft and their gaming brand were in a period of transition. But Rare Replay had another trick up its sleeve to appeal to a core Xbox audience. Their announcement promised 30 games priced at £20, with 10000 Gamerscore. It was an achievement hunters wet dream.

Looking back to 2015 and the Beautiful World of Beyond Eyes

The world of video games seems to be suffering from a lack of creativity. There seems to be a perception that it is much safer to produce a numbered sequel, especially to a sports game (looking at you, EA) than to take a chance on something different. Luckily, smaller developers, the much vaunted "indie devs" aren't as scared of trying something new, and so it was with Tiger & Squid, the developers of Beyond Eyes. Taking a story that was pretty simple, when it boiled down to it, and making it into a gaming experience unlike anything I'd played before is a pretty good talent to have.

Hands-on with the Razer Kishi for Xbox, Game Pass and Project xCloud

Come September 15th 2020, Xbox gaming will change forever more. No, it's not Series X that is getting a launch, but Project xCloud will be combining with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to ensure that Xbox gamers can take their games on the go, easier, and more swiftly, then ever before. That is where Razer are coming in, and with their Xbox branded Kishi Universal Mobile Gaming Controller for Android, the opportunity to go gaming on the go will become ever easier. Thanks to Razer we've been able to get hands-on with their new Kishi for Xbox ahead of the official release

Agony Spin-Off Succubus Forces Players to Do the Unthinkable

Much like its predecessor, Succubus maintains its mature themes, offering up a warning at launch and the option to censor some of the more explicit content

Taking a look at Mittelborg: City of Mages from the Xbox Creators Collection

Mittelborg: City of Mages on Xbox One is a title that works fine enough, delivering some interesting strategy elements and an original world and story. I just don't see it being one that was designed with the Xbox in mind, and it is much more suitable for a mobile or other handheld device.

5 Things You Forgot About the Fable Series

On the 14th of September 2004, Fable was released to critical and commercial success by Lionhead Studios, a newly acquired Microsoft Studio. This spawned a series of similarly successful games, and a recent reboot announced in the recent Xbox Games Showcase, developed by Playground Games. So, in that spirit, here are five things I’ve forgotten about the Fable series in light of the reveal of a new entry.

What are the Easiest Achievements from the Xbox One Games Released in July 2020?

For those not interested in football or an ice-cold pint in a beer garden, we've got you sorted - you’ve come here for Gamerscore, right? Once again, we’ve got you covered with some of the easiest achievements to pick up from the multitude of games released on Xbox One in the month of July 2020.

Suiting up with Rogue Company on Xbox One

What the world needs right now is another team-based PvP shooter, and luckily that’s exactly what Hi-Rez Studios have brought to the table with the release of Rogue Company.

Looking back to 2010 and the rocket-powered speedboats of Hydro Thunder Hurricane

Hydro Thunder Hurricane on Xbox is still absolutely worth playing today and it is available as a backwards compatible title on the Xbox One.

Looking back to 2010 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift isn’t very easy to find at the local shops anymore, but it isn’t exactly a desired rare item as copies can be found for clearance rates mainly because there isn’t a demand for it. Ultimately, it makes sense why Xbox doesn’t get BlazBlue or Guilty Gear anymore, but who knows, if enough of us drive up the second hand price of Xbox BlazBlue games we may even see the next Guilty Gear on Series X.

Looking back to 2015 and the distinctive charm of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

It's not every day a revolutionary little indie title comes along but Edmund McMillen seems to do it with almost every release. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth released near the start of the current generation and has been improved, adapted and mimicked ever since.

Flipping and tricking with Easy Day Studios’ Skater XL

It has long been known that 2020 is the year of the skateboarding game. Tony Hawk will soon be back with remastered and reworked versions of his classics, EA have teased that Skate is on the cards, and the highly intriguing Session has recently released via Xbox Game Preview, allowing the team at crea-ture Studios the chance to work with the fans to create a skateboarding masterpiece. But then there is also Skater XL, a game that has been in development for a good few years and previously pushed out via Early Access on Steam by the team behind it, Easy Day Studios.
