One of the latest to go down the Game Preview and Game Pass route is that of Lightyear Frontier, a game that takes farming sim elements but puts it into space.
The final week of the Horizon Race Off dawns in Forza Horizon 5, yet as we prepare to bid farewell, there is a last hoorah in the shape of the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 32 Spring.

Running a tried and tested formula is usually a safe bet provided you can add a little flare and excitement to things. After spending a little time with Mable & The Wood, I still can’t decide if it’s there or not. But I do know this – there’s a uniqueness about it all!
In our review of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on Xbox One we praised the fighting aspect of the beat ‘em up but were more critical of the lack of content in the game. With the Season Pass bringing out a couple of new characters, we take a look now at whether this is worth it?
Do you frequently find yourself daydreaming about a sunny beach somewhere in South America? Where the beer flows like wine and beautiful women (or men) instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano? In that case, the guys and gals at Limbic Entertainment have got the right place for you because Tropico 6 is currently in Game Preview on Xbox One.
Have you ever found yourself with some leftover Xbox Live Credit and thought, what can I possibly get with this? I know I have. But fear not, as I have scoured the Xbox Store and found the best Xbox One games available, right now, for under a fiver each.
I’m a big fan of racing games. So when I got the opportunity to go and experience the upcoming GRID release, I jumped at the chance. It’s being developed by the legendary Codemasters studio, who have a long and rich history of releasing quality racing titles. Their latest project is due for release on October 11th 2019, and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the newly rebooted GRID.
Numskull Designs were kind enough to send us two care packages of Crash Bandicoot merch, and while the first was good, that was really only the starter to the main event.
Recently I had the great pleasure of boarding the HMS Wellington on the River Thames in London. The boat served in World War 2 and is now permanently moored by Temple tube station as the guild for ancient master mariners. I was nowhere near being a master of anything, but I was here for one reason only and that was to partake in the The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan preview event held by Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games. I have to say, it was a pleasure to attend.

Should you look back far enough and manage to take your mind away from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, what you may well remember is a small, online-only multiplayer adventure that lit up the Xbox Live Arcade – Battlefield 1943.
There are many ways to classify what makes a horror game great, but I have collated this list solely on how scared it made me feel when I originally played it - how horrific the experience was in fact. Essentially the following horror titles are listed in order from the least amount I crapped myself, to the most. Of course all of these are available on Xbox One, let's get started.
There’s a family business to save, there’s a long road trip to take, and Aunt Guu Ma isn’t happy at all. I’m late, I’m late because the trains were delayed. Guu Ma doesn’t care about that though, there could be a natural disaster and she would want me there on time. It’s okay though, I’ve apologised and Guu Ma is just a little tired ahead of the long Road to Guangdong.
It puzzles me somewhat as to why it is the vocal majority who do not seem to be happy with Xbox Games With Gold. I feel a lot of those subscribed to Xbox Live may not understand what these games represent within the service.
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition launched on 2nd July, 2014 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and Xbox 360. Having already seen a standard version release to a damn good reception on PlayStation 3, PS Vita and PC in the previous year, hype was growing rapidly for the special edition, which included an expanded story, a new lava-filled location, a new boss, some fresh abilities, and more.
