It may have taken until 2021 for Insurgency: Sandstorm to roll out to Xbox and PlayStation platforms, but today we’re here to celebrate some 4 years of the game being in existence. And we’re doing that by getting involved with some new paid content and DLC packs.
Available right this second to purchase, download and add into your Insurgency: Sandstorm base game on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (and on PlayStation/PC should you prefer those angles) are no less than 4 bits of premium gear, weapon skins and more. They are available individually should you wish to pick and choose your poison, or under the one umbrella of the Accolade Set Bundle – that will set you back £7.99 or is found in the Year 2 Pass and Gold Edition of the game.
So what are we geting as New World Interactive and Focus Entertainment look to celebrate in style? Well, there’s a Pilot Gear Set for Security, a Biker Gear Set for Insurgents, a Worn Veteran Weapon Skin Set for Security and finally a Rust & Wrap Skin Set for Insurgents.
Each of the DLC packs comes in at £2.49, with a little 10% discount available should you have a valid Game Pass subscription to hand. Taking into account the fact that the base game of Insurgency: Sandstorm is still found kicking around on Game Pass – even though 7 games are being removed from the service – and we’d suspect that the downloadable content on offer will be of appeal to a good few players.
