It’s been 70 years since Ferdinand Porsche first went to work with creating the ultimate sports and race cars. Now, in 2018 the teams at Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco want to give us the opportunity to celebrate that fact by delivering the Porsche Legends Pack in Project Cars 2.
Arriving on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in early March, the Porsche Legends Pack will celebrate the history of the iconic brand by introducing their very first road car – the Porsche 356 – alongside all manner of other goodies, including tracks, liveries, careers and community events.
The full run-down of the Porsche Legends Pack is as follows:
- Nine legendary cars
- One FIA-certified track
- Twenty liveries
- Nine community events
- Five new careers
Carefully handpicked and crafted from the history of Porsche, the nine iconic Porsche cars include their current GT-runner the ‘2017 Porsche 911 RSR’ adding to Project CARS 2’s GT racers. The 911 RSR will join eight more historically significant Porsches handpicked from the last 70 years such as the monster 1200bhp, 5-litre flat-12 1972 Porsche 917/10!
Whilst there are still a few weeks left before we’ll be able to go hands on with the Porsche Legends Pack on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, should you be playing on the latter, you’ll now find that ‘Update 4’ has arrived, bringing numerous performance and stability improvements, gameplay balance tweaking, UI and render enhancements, and extensive AI improvements across many locations and vehicle classes.
If you haven’t yet played Project Cars 2, have a read of our review and then get to it.
I am looking forward to having it. I wonder which track they are going to add on.
