The core mechanic of Vinebound is the magical vine connecting the two players (or one player and an AI vine fairy in solo mode). This vine dictates your movement – stretch too far or get too close, and you’ll be snapped back, momentarily losing control.
Combat also relies on this connection. Attacks trigger via a “ping-pong cooldown” system – imagine a flower zipping along the vine; when it reaches a player, their attack fires.
