A Bird, A Pizza, And A Whole Lot Of Thinking
At first glance, Chico’s Delivery looks charming enough. You play as a pizza-delivering bird tasked with getting food to hungry customers across a series of colourful stages. The catch is that Chico never simply walks.
Once he starts moving, he slides continuously until he hits a wall, obstacle or another object. That turns every level into a puzzle where one wrong move can leave you stuck, force a lengthy detour or cause an order to expire before it reaches the table.
Adding further pressure, each customer has a countdown that drops with every move you make. Deliver quickly and efficiently and you’ll succeed. Waste too many turns and it’s game over for that order.
More Than Just Pizza Runs
What begins as a straightforward delivery challenge gradually introduces new mechanics to keep players on their toes. Teleporters can whisk Chico across the map, directional arrows alter his routes, and environmental objects become essential tools in finding the perfect path. It’s the sort of puzzle design that constantly asks players to think a few moves ahead.
