The worlds of two arcade legends collide today as Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds expands with the arrival of the PAC-MAN Pack.

Available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, this colourful DLC injects pure nostalgia into SEGA’s high-speed racer, blending classic maze madness with modern kart-racing chaos.

For fans of either franchise, this crossover is less of a novelty and more of a celebration.

PAC-MAN Pack – What’s Included

  • Price: £4.99
  • PAC-MAN and Team Ghost as playable characters
  • Blinky playable, with Inky, Pinky and Clyde skins
  • PAC-MAN Mobile vehicle
  • PAC-Village & Maze track
  • Official PAC-MAN music tracks
  • Six emotes per character
  • Additional character sound effects

Arcade Icons Hit The Starting Grid

At the heart of the pack is the unmistakable PAC-MAN, joined by Team Ghost, led by Blinky and supported by alternate skins for Inky, Pinky and Clyde. Each character arrives with custom emotes and sound effects, adding personality that fits perfectly alongside Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ already packed roster.

The iconic PAC-MAN Mobile serves as the vehicle of choice, looking every bit as quirky and nostalgic as fans would hope.

PAC-Village And Maze Course

The standout addition is the PAC-Village & Maze track, a vibrant course inspired by both modern and classic PAC-MAN designs. Expect winding routes, bold colours and visual callbacks to arcade-era mazes, all reimagined for CrossWorlds’ fast-paced racing style.

The course is also available in online races even if you do not own the DLC, ensuring fair competition while still letting PAC-MAN owners show off their new content.

You can see the crossover in action in the official trailer:

How The DLC Fits Into CrossWorlds

Our 4.5 out of 5 review of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds praised the game’s breadth and ambition:

Despite a few minor setbacks, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is Sonic Team’s valiant effort to compete in the arcade racer market; when your game contains an abundance of characters, maps, game-modes and mechanics all of the same calibre, it can easily go toe-to-toe with even the Mario Karts of the genre.

The PAC-MAN Pack reinforces that strength, adding recognisable characters and a themed track without disrupting balance or accessibility.

Season Pass And Access Details

Players who own the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the PAC-MAN Pack automatically as part of the Season Pass. The full Season Pass is also available separately for £24.99, offering access to future characters, vehicles and courses.

Alternatively, the PAC-MAN Pack can be purchased standalone for £4.99, with the base game required to play.

A Perfect Fit For Arcade Racing Fans

The PAC-MAN Pack is exactly the kind of crossover that feels at home in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. It is colourful, playful and packed with fan service, while still respecting the fast, competitive nature of the racer itself.

Whether you are chasing lap times, online wins or simply a dose of arcade nostalgia, this DLC proves that some icons never stop racing.
