A Puzzle Game That Lets You Slow Down

At its core, Claim the Forest: Shape of Wolves is a relaxing puzzle-placement game.

Players are presented with a board representing a patch of forest. Your task is to carefully arrange wolf-shaped pieces so that they perfectly fill the available space without leaving any gaps.

There’s no timer counting down and no penalties for trying different ideas – just a calm environment that encourages players to think things through at their own pace.

30 Levels Across Seasonal Forests

Across 30 handcrafted puzzles, players will gradually work through boards that grow larger and more complex.

The journey takes place across three seasonal biomes – Winter forests, Summer woodland, and Autumn landscapes. Each environment introduces new board shapes and placement challenges, requiring players to pay close attention to angles, rotations and the unique shapes of the wolves themselves.

And then, as the puzzles become more intricate, finding the perfect arrangement becomes increasingly satisfying.

Another Trip Into the Forest

This latest release builds on the ideas introduced in the original Claim the Forest, a game we covered back in 2025, which explored the woodland world where animals compete to claim territory.

With Shape of Wolves, the focus shifts toward a more puzzle-driven format while keeping the same peaceful setting.

Ready To Claim The Forest?

Now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC, Claim the Forest: Shape of Wolves offers a peaceful puzzle adventure where logic and patience are the keys to success. You’ll find it kicking around in three forms – Xbox Series X|S Optimised, another for Xbox One, and then another for Windows PC.

All that remains is to rotate the pieces, watch the river drift by… and make sure every wolf finds its place in the forest.
