The world of 4v1 asymmetrical horror game White Noise 2 is about to get a whole lot scarier with a stripped back Classic Mode. It sounds terrifying, but brace yourself as we reveal all juicy details.
The newest update, codenamed Merciless Fate, adds a Classic Mode to White Noise 2, which removes the compass and other skills from the action. This will surely increase the reliance on communication with your fellow investigators, needing to co-operate more in order to avoid getting separated and swiftly dying at the hands of the creature.
In the interest of fairness though, the creature is also in for an equally difficult time trying to hunt down its prey due its powers being taken away too. All it can do is follow the tracks left by investigators and ensure that detection idols are sufficiently placed. Could you manage to stop the investigators before they find all the clues? Can you survive being stalked by the dreaded creature?
The only way to find out is to give the Classic Mode a go and it’s already available for PC players right now, with the update arriving next week for Xbox One. If you don’t know much about White Noise 2 and wish to find out whether it’s worth a look, feel free to give our full review a read!
