Close your eyes to see The Blackout Club on Xbox One, PS4 and PC right now

Set to reinvent the co-op experience, The Blackout Club is now available to download on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Can you work together and solve the mystery?

The Blackout Club is a co-op horror adventure game for 1-4 players in a procedurally generated world as you and your friends try and uncover the mysterious happenings. Every night, everyone in town gets out of bed and sleepwalks. In the morning, they wake up with no recollection of what happened or where they were, but that procedural generation will ensure no two nights are the same, even if you could remember them.

The game starts and your friend has gone missing. You try and tell your parents but obviously they don’t believe you. More importantly, they don’t care. It is therefore up to you and your remaining friends to work together and solve the mystery of Redacre. Those strange goings on in Redacre extend beyond the adults though, there is a being known as Angel (or ‘The Shape’) that watches over everything that happens. Weirdly though, Angel can only be seen when your eyes are closed.

The developers at Question, who have previously worked on Thief and Bioshock 2, expect a lot of sneaking and stealth work around to find out just what is going on. You will need to find and obtain evidence to prove what you say is true, but will that even be enough?

The Blackout Club is ready to download right now priced at £24.99 from the Xbox Store – or the digital store of your choosing – and our full review will be up on the site in the near future. There’s also a Founder’s Pack containing two jackets, a poster and an in-game dabbing style gesture, which will cost £4.19.

Need a co-op buddy to play the game with, or just someone to hold your hand? If so, shout up in the comments and maybe someone will answer!
