The release of F1 2020 is fast approaching, and even though the real world sport is still on hold, it’s time to ramp up the excitement meter with a first look at the stunning Hanoi Circuit that will be present in Codemaster’s F1 2020 on Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia and PC.

The second new circuit to feature in F1 2020 – the official videogame of the 2020 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – after the reveal of Circuit Zandvoort, the new Hanoi Circuit in Vietnam brings together a street circuit’s characteristics with a permanent track layout. Running at 5.613km long, the Hanoi Circuit features 23 turns and takes inspiration from some of the most iconic F1 circuits such as Suzuka, Monaco and Nürburgring. It has been created with action and overtaking in mind, and with two incredibly long straights it promises to be one of the fastest circuits on the season’s calendar. But further to that, with one of the shortest pit lanes, which removes both the final and first corners, some good old pit-stop strategies could well play a pivotal role in ensuring you stay ahead of the competition.

“We’re always excited to create new experiences for our players. Hanoi Circuit delivers both thrills and challenges, set against the backdrop of the stunning city skyline,” said Lee Mather, F1® Franchise Game Director at Codemasters. “Hanoi Circuit is an adrenaline rush with high speeds, long straights and heavy braking zones, but it will punish anyone who doesn’t respect the walled sections.”

“Hanoi Circuit offers a unique city circuit layout with several overtaking possibilities and high-speed corner combinations,” said Dr, Carsten Tilke, Managing Director and Partner at Tilke GmbH & Co. KG. “Codemasters has done a great job recreating Hanoi Circuit, and the track will provide a new challenge for all players.”

F1 2020 is due to launch on July 10th on Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia and PC, with a stunning Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition delivering exclusive content and three days early access.
