Secretlab Cyberpunk Edition chair

It is no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 has been pushed back more times than we care to mention. But if that gives the team at CD Project Red the chance to ensure the game is the very best it can be, we can handle it. But when Cyberpunk 2077 does finally roll out onto PC and console, chances are it’s going to be something that wows the world. Much like the latest announcement from Secretlab – the Secretlab Cyberpunk 2077 Edition Chair.

We’ve been big fans of Secretlab for many a year, and their Titan gaming chairs – both in SoftWeave and Stealth form – are our go-to seats for when it’s time to take in some intense gaming sessions. But honestly, the Cyberpunk 2077 Edition? Absolutely stunning. And we’re sure it’ll look great in many gaming setups.

Available in limited numbers initially, and then pushing on with a full roll-out as the game releases – hopefully in November 2020 – the Secretlab Cyberpunk 2077 Edition chair will come in two flavours, covering Secretlab’s Titan and Omega ranges. Which one is best for you depends on a few things – particularly height and weight. But from there, the chair aims to draw on the most distinctive elements of Night City, building on the lore of the game, and it’s main protagonist, V.

The Cyberpunk 2077 chair comes with all the usual Secretlab trimmings – precise, ergonomic support, lasting comfort and enough engineering and technology to ensure that every session you take in with Cyberpunk 2077 will be the best it can get.

It is the colour which is the most striking aspect though – a stunning neon yellow front that is complemented by a bright turqoise stitching and electrical traces working down the backrest. And then move round to the back and you’llfine a flaming logo of chrome rock band Samurai, helmed by their lead singer Johnny Silverhand – yep, Keanu Reeves himself.

It has to be said that what Secretlab are attempting with their Cyberpunk 2077 Edition chair is nothing short of stunning. Throw in minute details and the overall techno-dystopia theme, and you’ve got something that any gamer would want to find in their setup – not least those biggest of Cyberpunk fans.

Ian Alexander Ang, co-founder and CEO of Secretlab: “Together with CD PROJEKT RED’s design team, we drew inspiration from Cyberpunk 2077’s iconic visuals of the future to create the Secretlab Cyberpunk 2077 Edition chair. It combines the defining elements of the Cyberpunk universe with the engineering and technology of the Secretlab 2020 Series and is a must-have for gamers looking to complete their collection of Cyberpunk memorabilia. We can’t wait for players to experience true comfort on a chair inspired by their favorite game.”

So, are you in the market for a new gaming chair? Have Secretlab nailed what is required for a Cyberpunk 2077 themed chair? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
