We’ve previously seen the team at SOEDESCO talk about how we’ll be found earning cash and rewards in the upcoming Truck Driver on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, whilst further videos have focused their time and effort on the characters we’ll get to meet as we become a master truck driver. Today though the finale of the Truck Driver mini-series of videos is here, and it’s all about the customisation that will be in place.
Coming to Xbox One and PS4 on 19th September 2019, with a PC launch then following that a little later, Truck Driver promises to deliver a game which sees you attempting to make a name for yourself in the haulage world. Taking on all manner of jobs from constructor to lumberjack will all be doable as you spend time building relationships with others across a huge seamless open world.
But one of the biggest parts of Truck Driver on Xbox One, PS4 and PC will be spending time with the customisation opportunities that are in play, and how you tune your truck will affect all manner of other things.
Customization in Truck Driver takes place in the garage, where we’ll get the chance to change the looks of the truck, buy new vehicles or add new parts to help with specific kind of jobs. The range of options will be numerous and each will affect the stats of the truck. But that’s not all and the state of the truck has an effect on the stats as well, so it’s important to visit the garage if an accident has happened along the way.
Another way to increase stats is through the skills and passives, all of which are unlockable by acquiring more experience. These skills and passives can result in improvements and benefits such as longer stamina, durability of parts or discounts on truck repair for example.
Features include:
- Enjoy a trucking experience focused on your career as a truck driver
- Build stronger relationships with the local community with each job
- Customize your truck with tons of parts and tune it to your liking
- Explore a seemless open world and watch it progress with you
- Navigate through diverse landscapes and interesting locations
If you think the truck driving way of life is a route you just have to take, and you have huge interest in the upcoming launch of Truck Driver on Xbox One, then make sure you check out the concluding part to SOEDESCO‘s mini-series right now. You can watch it below.
