Continue the fight as Blaster Master Zero 2 hits Xbox

It was only a few short weeks ago that us Xbox gamers had the chance to teach the mutant scum a lesson in Blaster Master Zero. Now though another adventure awaits in Blaster Master Zero 2.

An Xbox Series X|S Optimised title that is also playable on Xbox One, Blaster Master Zero 2 is the long awaited (well, short awaited if you’re on Xbox) sequel to the original game as we get the chance to join Jason, Eve and Fred on an intergalactic journey through some mutant blasting madness.

Priced up at £8.99, Blaster Master Zero 2 works as a side-scrolling/top-down hybrid affair, one in which you’ll be tasked with blasting anything that moves. It follows the ‘as yet untold’ story of Jason and Eve as they venture into the depths once more in their brand spanking new battle tank – GAIA-SOPHIA.

Hopping aboard this tank the team attempt to leave Earth and travel to Eve’s home planet Sophia all in order to find a cure to an infection which has begun to corrupt her body. And yep, we know what you’re thinking, but this madness seems to be classic Blaster Master Zero stuff.

With new abilities coming to the fore, new pilots to enjoy and additional support droids available to help with the mission at hand, if you enjoyed what happened in the original Blaster Master Zero and fancy involving yourself in a tale of intergalactic space warfare once more, a purchase of Blaster Master Zero 2 on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S seems like a no-brainer.

You’ll find it available from the Xbox Store right now. Let us know if you give it a shot and we’ll do likewise with a review once we get hands on.

Game Description:

Join Jason, Eve, and Fred on an intergalactic journey! The side-scrolling/top-down hybrid action adventure title “Blaster Master Zero” returns with its long-awaited sequel!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
