Sniper Elite Resistance DLC
Sniper Elite Resistance DLC – paid and free

The fight against the Nazi war machine continues as Sniper Elite: Resistance players get access to some free, and paid, DLC.

Rebellion has just released new content for Sniper Elite: Resistance, the latest entry in the long-running stealth-action series.

Available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, this update includes a paid DLC mission pack, Vercors Vendetta, as well as a free content pack for all players, Fairburne’s Armoury.

The Vercors Vendetta Mission and Weapons Pack, priced at ÂŁ9.99 from the Xbox Store, adds a brand-new mission to the Sniper Elite: Resistance story.

Despite destroying the main stockpile of the deadly nerve agent Kleine Blume, a final cache remains. This stash has been loaded into artillery shells, ready to be launched against targets across France. It’s up to SOE agent Harry Hawker to stop this devastating attack before it’s too late.

New Weapons for a Deadly Mission

To aid you in your mission, the Vercors Vendetta pack is also in the Season Pass, and includes two new weapons:

  • M1941 Rifle: Used by the U.S. Marine Corps, this powerful rifle boasts a 10-round rotary magazine, reducing the need for frequent reloads.
  • Armaguerra OG-44 Submachine Gun: This Italian SMG features a unique recoil mechanism, resulting in extremely low vertical recoil, making it ideal for close-quarters combat.

Free Content for All Players: Fairburne’s Armoury

Rebellion is also giving all Sniper Elite: Resistance players a free content pack, Fairburne’s Armoury. This pack includes:

  • M.1903 Rifle: The sniper rifle of choice during the Allied Invasion of Europe, known for its incredible range and muzzle velocity.
  • M1A1 Gov. Submachine Gun: A classic SMG delivering lethal .45ACP rounds (though with some drawbacks due to its weight and sights).
  • Field Jacket Character Skin
  • Lieutenant Karl Fairburne Character Skin

New Multiplayer Maps Added

But that’s not all! The latest update also adds two new maps to the multiplayer roster:

  • St. Raymonds: A map exclusive to Sniper Elite: Resistance.
  • Flooded Village (No Cross): A fan-favorite map from Sniper Elite 5.

This influx of free content significantly expands the multiplayer experience for all players.

Relive the Resistance

We reviewed Sniper Elite: Resistance, awarding it a 3.5/5 and stating: “There may be things wrong with Sniper Elite: Resistance, but it still does a lot of things right. Sniping is never not fun, especially on the higher difficulties as the elite snipers come out to play, and there’s no doubt that when any mission goes sideways and loud, there is a real tension in trying to hide and reset before carrying on. Yes, Sniper Elite: Resistance isn’t the most polished game ever, nor the most original, but it does the job it sets out to do.

This new content offers a great reason to revisit the game, or jump in for the first time.

Sniper Elite Resistance is out now on Game Pass, and available for purchase, both digitally and physically.

What’s New in Sniper Elite: Resistance?

  • Vercors Vendetta Mission and Weapons Pack (Paid DLC): New campaign mission, M1941 Rifle, and Armaguerra OG-44 SMG.
  • Fairburne’s Armoury Weapons and Skins Pack (Free): M.1903 Rifle, M1A1 Gov. SMG, and two character skins.
  • Two New Multiplayer Maps (Free): St. Raymonds and Flooded Village (No Cross).

Join the Fight!

Whether you’re a seasoned Sniper Elite veteran or a newcomer to the series, there’s plenty of new content to enjoy in Sniper Elite: Resistance.

Head to the Xbox Store (or your favourite digital store if not Xbox) to grab the Vercors Vendetta DLC, and be sure to download the free Fairburne’s Armoury pack and new multiplayer maps.

The fight for freedom continues.
