Kooeh A Timeless Delight – now on Xbox and Steam

Kooeh: A Timeless Delight has a much sweeter goal than many other games – preserving family traditions, rediscovering forgotten recipes and bringing a beloved dessert cafĂ© back to life.

Launching today on Xbox Series X|S and PC, this charming narrative-driven management game blends restaurant simulation with cultural storytelling, creating an experience that feels every bit as much about heritage and memories as it does cooking and customer service.

For players who enjoy cosy gaming experiences with plenty of heart, Kooeh may be worth pulling up a chair for.

A Quest Built Around Family And Food

At the centre of Kooeh: A Timeless Delight is a young office worker whose life takes an unexpected turn when they set out to recover the missing pages of a treasured family recipe book.

That search becomes much more than a simple scavenger hunt.

As the story unfolds, players travel through a whimsical alternate world populated by colourful anthropomorphic characters, uncovering long-lost recipes and learning about the traditions that shaped them. The ultimate goal is to restore the family dessert bistro to its former glory, but the journey appears just as important as the destination.

Cooking Up Malaysian Delights

It goes without saying, but food is at the heart of everything.

Throughout the adventure, players will discover and prepare a variety of traditional Malaysian desserts and dishes, serving them to customers who are more than happy to judge the quality of your culinary creations.

The restaurant management side of the game revolves around balancing service, preparation and customer satisfaction, gradually transforming the café into a thriving destination once again.

More Than Just A Cafe Sim

What really makes Kooeh interesting is the way it embraces Malaysian culture and history.

The colourful cast of characters aren’t simply there to hand out quests. Players can learn about their backgrounds, discover stories inspired by real-world traditions and collect memorable moments throughout the journey.

There are also unique mechanics tied to local culture, including a wishing tree system inspired by traditional Chinese customs, allowing players to make wishes for rare ingredients and other rewards.

A Cosy Experience With Plenty Of Heart

The cosy game genre continues to grow, but Kooeh: A Timeless Delight may well bring something distinctive to the table.

If you’ve been searching for a relaxing management game with a strong narrative focus and a unique cultural identity, Kooeh: A Timeless Delight may be one of the most intriguing arrivals on Xbox this year.

It’s available now on Xbox Series X|S via the Xbox Store, and PC through Steam.
