Covenant of Solitude is out now

It’s time to take in a classic-style fantasy RPG filled with monster-taming, deep job customisation, and an emotional story of power and persecution. It’s that – and Xbox Play Anywhere support – which Covenant of Solitude promises.

Having launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Covenant of Solitude from MAGITEC and KEMCO is a grand adventure, complete with Xbox Play Anywhere support. The game also launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch today.

A Tale of Power, Persecution, and Destiny

In a world where some are born with the power to control monsters, these gifted few – known as Genies – are feared, hunted, and exploited. You are Fort, a young boy hiding this curse in silence, until war crashes through your remote village and forces you to embrace the truth of who you are.

In the remote village of Listy, Fort lives as an outcast, marked by the blood of the Genies. He endures persecution from those he once called neighbours, but when the Empire attacks his home, his dormant powers awaken in a flash of fury and magic. Now gifted – or cursed – with immense power, Fort must decide how to use it.

Will he protect those he cares for, or bring about their ruin? His awakening sparks a brutal conflict over the Genie bloodline, plunging the land into chaos. Fort’s journey is one of survival, purpose, identity, and deciding the fate of a world torn between fear and freedom.

Forge Bonds, Build Legends, & Master Your Team

Covenant of Solitude offers deep, turn-based RPG gameplay with a focus on team building and customisation:

  • Recruit Your Monster Army: Form deep bonds with creatures who choose to fight by your side. Through mystical contracts, you can recruit a diverse array of allies from four mighty tribes: the powerful Dragons, the cunning Fairies, the ferocious Beasts, and the magical Vampires.
  • Master the Job-Change System: One of the game’s most thrilling features is its flexible job-change system. Characters can evolve by switching jobs while retaining skills from their previous roles, unlocking powerful hybrid abilities. Turn a Dragon Fighter into a Wizard to combine brute strength with devastating magic, or transform a Vampire Wizard into a Healer to control the battlefield with both destruction and restoration. With limitless combinations, no two journeys will ever be the same.

Optional Boosts: DLC Packs Available Now

For those who want to tailor their journey, four optional DLC packs are available at launch to complement the base game:

Purchase the game digitally once via the Xbox Store for ÂŁ16.74, and you automatically own it on both your Xbox console (One or Series X|S) and your Windows PC. Your progress and achievements will sync seamlessly between platforms!
