Cowabunga dudes! The Ninja Turtles are now available to purchase for Injustice 2 on Xbox One

This is not a joke; the DC Comics universe of Injustice 2 is being infiltrated by four of the coolest sewer dwellers to have ever existed. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are here to kick ass and eat pizza… and they’re all out of pizza!

Created in the 1980s, the heroes in a half shell have stood the test of time and now see themselves battling with the likes of Superman, Batman and The Flash in the hugely popular fighting game Injustice 2 as the latest DLC. Take on the role of Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo or Donatello, making use of swords, sais, nunchakus and the bo staff respectively. Although you’ll only be able to control one turtle at a time, their fellow ninja can lend a hand during certain manoeuvres and the Super attack brings the whole team into play for an all out assault – the skateboard is a rather handy weapon it seems.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a part of the Fighter Pack #3, so if you already own that, the Ultimate Pack or the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2, then you’re good to go. Alternatively, the turtles can now be purchased separately for the price of £7.99 on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One, whilst it’s also available on PlayStation 4 and PC. Surely it’s worth splashing the cash for these awesome dude? Let us know what you think in the comments, our forums, or on social media!

If you haven’t even played Injustice 2 yet, then our review might convince you to get involved sooner rather than later.

DLC Description:

Download and play as TMNT – Deep below the surface, in the sewers of New York City, four turtle brothers were mutated by radioactive ooze and began training in the art of ninjutsu. From the shadows, they protect the citizens of their city from evil ninja clans, dangerous mutants and interdimensional tyrants of all shapes and sizes. While in a fight with one of their greatest archenemies—the fearsome Krang—our heroes in a half-shell were jettisoned on a one-way trip across the Multiverse.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
