Outbound
Outbound – coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC

The open road is calling, and a new kind of sustainable adventure is just over the horizon – Outbound is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Silver Lining Interactive and Square Glade Games have confirmed that their highly anticipated “cozyvival” camper van adventure, Outbound, is officially coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in the first half of 2026.

The exciting console announcement was made alongside the debut of a brand-new gameplay trailer, which revealed a sun-soaked new biome, The Coast, inviting players to park their vans on a sandy beach and build their perfect coastal getaway.

Your Off-Grid Adventure Awaits

Outbound is a game where freedom is your ultimate destination. You are dropped into a vibrant, utopian near-future with nothing but a modest camper van. From there, your journey is your own. You will transform this simple van into your dream mobile home and set out on a road trip of your own design, exploring a beautiful, stylised world.

This is a game all about building a sustainable life on the road, blending deep customisation with engaging survival mechanics.

Your camper van is your home, and you can make it truly your own. The game features a deep customisation system with modular parts, a variety of paint jobs, and a host of furnishings and decorations to create your perfect rolling base.

Live Sustainably

A core part of the “cozyvival” experience is living in harmony with nature. You will need to harness the power of the elements by using solar, wind, or water energy to live sustainably off-grid. You’ll also be able to grow your own crops, forage for wild edibles, and cook wholesome meals on the road.

To help you thrive in the wild, you will be able to refine the resources you gather, research new technologies, and create a host of useful tools to improve your van and your quality of life.

You don’t have to hit the road alone. Outbound will feature online co-op for up to four friends, allowing you to build, explore, and survive together.

From a Celebrated Indie Team

Outbound comes from a team with a proven track record. Developer Square Glade Games is the independent studio behind the hit Above Snakes.

Following a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, Outbound has already become one of Steam’s top 50 most-wishlisted games, showing the immense anticipation for this new project.

A new journey of exploration and self-discovery is about to begin. With its unique blend of van-life customisation and cozy survival, Outbound is shaping up to be the ultimate virtual road trip. It’s time to start planning your escape for the first half of 2026. The Xbox Store page is worth a visit.
